Dextra

Dextra Group, based in Gillingham, Dorset, has manufactured energy efficient commercial lighting products since 1978. It has grown to become a highly successful, privately owned business, in several sectors of the industry and is now positioned as the largest privately owned and managed lighting manufacturer in the UK. Using state-of-the-art technology Dextra manufactures thousands of light fittings every day and employs over 500 people.

We have worked closely with Dextra for a number of years, creating marketing material that reflect the progressive nature of their many sub-brands, reinforcing their key message of “quality UK products, backed up by unrivalled levels of customer service”.

Over the past four decades Dextra have continually evolved to the point where their lighting solutions are used by some of the UK’s leading organisations including Tesco, NHS, Asda, DHL and Amazon.

Over the course of many years working directly with Dextra’s in-house marketing team we have built and managed a fully bespoke WordPress website, allowing Dextra’s team to make ongoing updates to their sites which are changing on an hourly basis. The brief centred around user experience and conversion rate optimisation. Ensuring site visitors, who are often short on time, can easily find the information they require and download it effectively was a crucial part of this project.

Further to this we have also built a bespoke “Download Centre” bolt on to the main Dextra Group site. This allows all of Dextra’s 50 plus sales team to access their own secure account dashboard where they can create bespoke sales documents, selecting any combination of product, case study and corporate information from the live site. This information can then all outputted to a single PDF document, with cover, contents page and introduction section all personalised with their clients details and branding.

There are multiple output options inciding an online viewer option which was introduced to support the sales team during the COVID-19 pandemic when a number of meetings moved to a video format.

Over the years we have also created three catalogues, a Group corporate brochure, an 80 page product brochure for Dexeco and a 60 page downlight brochure. Other graphic design projects have included posters, business cards, pop-up banners, vehicle liveries to name but-a-few.
